I'm Going Nuts!

So, because I am antsy to get the results of my state board exams back (still have two weeks), to find out where we are getting stationed next year (11 months away), and what the fall holds for me (based on said results of state exams), I feel like I have been more on edge lately.  To try to work through some of these issues, I figured I would blog about what's been driving me bonkers lately.

- People that pull out in front of you, but then go slower than the speed limit.  This happens all the time around here.  I knew I grew up not too far away, but the people around here are terrible drivers!  They either drive way too fast or slow (no middle ground) turn in lanes that you're not supposed to turn from, and run red lights.  All.  The.  Time.  Hate it.

How I feel when I drive.
- People that don't take care of their pets.  As you may or may not know, I foster dogs for the rescue organization that I got my second sweet boy from.  The last dog I fostered had an infected blind eye that had to be removed, and the current one I am fostering had her eye hanging out of the socket, and had to get 11 teeth removed because they were literally rotting in her mouth.  These poor, sweet, innocent creatures deserve so much more, and there's a special place in hell for bad pet owners / breeders.
- Flakers.  I can't stand these kinds of people!  I understand the genuine need to cancel things sometimes.  Hell, my life has been so crazy this semester, I know I've been guilty.  But, when it's the same person over and over again, it's no coincidence.

- People who can't control their kids.  No, I don't think it's funny when your child runs across the restaurant and grabs my arm while I am eating.  No, I also don't think it's funny when your child runs around and screams while you check your Facebook on your phone.  I especially don't think it's funny when your child leaves their yard and runs and kicks my dog while I am out walking him.  I know that I am not a parent, but I do have common sense.  Parent you children.

- Nasty people.  In the past week, I have seen grown adults pick their nose, sneeze without covering, chew loudly with their mouths open, curse like it's going out of style in inappropriate places, stink up a bathroom and not flush, leave the paper toilet seat cover on the toilet after they're done, and throw their cigarette butts and paper out their car window.  Didn't any of their parents teach them manners?

I hate when people mistreat animals. It makes me so sad. I think one of my dogs was abused before I adopted her.

I can't believe some of these parents! I have a very active 2 year old, but I would never let her run in a restaurant or kick someone's dog. What is wrong with people?
