In other news, I have had a busy few weeks in The 'Lou! I have gone to a Rams Game, the Taste of St. Louse, the Best of Missouri Market and, as it is listed on my 101 list, I have gone to a Cardinals/Cubs game. I have to say (don't kill me!) that baseball isn't my favorite sport, but going to the game was a blast. So, I have crossed the following off my list.
#64. The Cards take on the Cubs at Busch Stadium. Check!
On our way to the game on the metro! |
The game at night. |

1. The Gateway Arch Check!
And also...
30. Drive down the River Road and pick Apples at Eckart's Orchard Check!
101. A thin-crust Imo’s deluxe pizza Check! - Although, I wouldn't recommend it. No hating!

My family are huge Cards fans. Of course I broke off when I moved to Philly. However, STL is such a fun baseball town, even if it isn't your cup of tea :)
Is a concrete at Ted Drewes on your list because that is something we always have to do when we go through.
OH MY GOSH! I'm sad you didn't like the Imo's Pizza! I used to work at Imo's down in Springfield MO and it is my FAVORITE pizza ever. Provel cheese is so tasty on pizza! Glad you tried it though, and enjoy the Lou! There is some fun stuff to check out there! I love City Museum at night... much fun!
Just FYI, something else you can take off your STL Bucket list - the St. Louis Renaissance Fair in Wentzville - it'll be going on for the next two weekends, and it's a lot of fun. It sounds like you guys live downtown/spend a lot of time downtown, and I work downtown. The best chai in the city (if that's your kind of thing) is at the Gelateria, at 14th and Washington. If chai isn't your cup of tea, their gelato is good, also. :)
