Christmas came early! And my first giveaway!

Are you ready for Christmas?  There's so much to do!  And in our case, we have a ton of family coming over.  There are many different food things to consider, and the above picture will help out with that.  My husband loves Kikkoman soy and Teriyaki sauce.  He was stationed in Japan and has specific tastes.  He finds them to be the best here in America.  While I am not a huge fun of soy sauce (or Asian type food in general) Kikkoman still saves the day with their delicious milks and bread crumbs.  This weekend, Joel is even trying out their french toast recipe!  I'll keep you updated with progress on that.  It looks delish!  They even have a yummy mac & cheese recipe that the family will be tasting over Christmas.  Who knew?  Thanks to Kikkoman and my early Christmas gift, I now have a ton of new recipes for holidays.

In the spirit of yummy food and giving, for my readers I would like to offer a giveaway!  For my military related readers, the prize is a $25 gift certificate to the commissary to help lighten your holiday load.  If you don't have access to a commissary near you, the prize will be an assortment of the yummies you see listed above, plus a spoon rest and a Kikkoman rubber ducky.  That guy is so cute!

How to enter?  Easy!  Just leave me a comment stating what your favorite holiday dish is, and then stay tuned to find out the winner!  I will take entries until Tuesday, which is my last final for the semester.  Eek!

Happy winning everyone!!!

What a fun giveaway! Love the military prize! My favorite holiday dish is pierogi. They are a Polish dish that I've had ever year growing up. Now that I'm a military wife, we don't get home for the holidays, but I always make pierogi. It helps to be far away when eating the comforts of home!

My favorite holiday dish is both latkes and jelly doughnuts. Please don't make me pick just one. Complex carbohydrates are your friends.

This is a hard one...I have lots of Holiday favorites. I'm easy to please though...and would have to say mashed potatoes. HAHA, told you, pretty boring. But, we don't make them any other time of the year...I wonder why? Most of all, I love being with family...that's the best for me. Holiday's just don't seem the same with out them :(

Thank you so much for offering such a generous giveaway! My favorite holiday dish is sweet potato casserole with pecan topping. It is so good I could easily skip the dessert and have another helping... or three. ;)
