Hiya!

My name is Kristen. I am originally from Indiana, but I've gone from living overseas in Germany to the suburbs of St. Louis, and now to Okinawa, Japan, where I moved in the summer of 2014 with my husband, Joel. He is moving right along with his Air Force career, and I am a Special Education Teacher, working in my very first classroom.

I am a college graduate (B.S. in History and Poli Sci and a Master's in Special Education), an animal lover, a traveler, a wine and food junkie, and someone who always thirsts for more in life. My life has had its ups and downs, but I will never forget those experiences and the people I have met along the way. For better or worse, they have made me who I am. And I wouldn't trade it for the world.
