Joel and I also went to St. Louis Downtown Restaurant Week and tried out a new place, Lola. Lola is right downtown, and is a mix of creole/Cajun type food. Restaurant week offers a three course meal, and I decided to go with the Caesar Salad, which was honestly the best salad I have ever had (the croutons were homemade garlic bread pieces and the freshly grated parmesan cheese was to die for), the chicken and waffles, which was also the best C&W I have ever, ever had (they even make their own maple butter sauce that will literally make you drool), and bread pudding, which was also pretty decent! The wait staff was also super friendly, and I am already planning our next return. Joel got the gumbo and cheesecake, and was also pretty darn pleased with his meal.

Weekend Recap, Way Behind
Even though I am crazy busy working and teaching during the week, I have been trying to make the most of my weekends. A few weekends ago, I went to go see Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry with a good friend of mine. It was an amazing concert, and even though I've seen RF in concert before, they just keep getting better and better. I'll just let the pictures do the talking.

This looks like such a fun concert! And that food... yummmm!
That show is coming here as well! I've gone back and forth on wanting to go. I saw RF a few years back and they were ok.
