Day 1, Wednesday: The story of your life in 250 words or less (or one paragraph... no one will be counting your words... probably)

So, the story of my life began kind of bizarrely.  My mom found out that she was pregnant with me when she went in to get her tubes tied.  She didn't have the money to abort me and continue with the procedure, because of course insurance wouldn't cover that part.  So...ta da!  I was born.  Thanks for being kind of poor, Mom.  And now you all know why I am adamantly Pro-Life.

In all fairness to my mom, my older sister Nicole was born with some pretty severe special needs.  My mom was terrified to go through her pregnancy with me, but all went well, and I turned out fairly alright.  My mom and my biological father divorced when I was super young, and I went through two step-dads before my "dad" and my mom married when I was nine.  He's the only dad I need, and an incredible man for taking on my mom, me, and my sister.  We were quite the handful.

Went through a gazillion schools because my mom kept switching me around, graduated high school, and received a full ride scholarship to Indiana University.  Went to college, moved overseas to Germany, met the love of my life, got married, moved back to the states, started Grad school, and here I am.  In a nutshell.
